LOS COLORES DE LA BOCA Pantone Sweatshirt| Inspired by the jerseys of the Buenos Aires neighborhood club.
Following the Pantone format, we’ve compiled some of La Boca’s most iconic jerseys. Starting with the black-and-white 1905 home jersey. Next, the 1907 jersey, where they first used the iconic colors we all know today, and the 1913 jersey, when the horizontal stripe was introduced—a design they still wear today.
We jump ahead to 1978, when the jersey underwent some changes. For the 1977 Intercontinental Cup, played the following year, the team wore a crest for the first time—a historic and groundbreaking move for the era. We arrive at 1981, the jersey worn by our GOD in his debut year.
And so, we move on to the 1989 jersey, remembered for its design inspired by a German jersey. The 1996 jersey, the year the number 10 retired, and finally the one they wore in 1998, featuring a thicker stripe and the year they won the Apertura Tournament.
