Located in the Avellaneda neighborhood, this is one of Argentina’s most important stadiums. This T-shirt pays tribute to Independiente’s stadium and highlights some of its most interesting features.
Starting with the name, which after the reopening on October 28, 2009, changed from Estadio Doble Visera to Libertadores de América. Years later, Ricardo Enrique Bochini, the team’s greatest idol, was added, and one of the stands was also named after him.
In addition to a complete floor plan of the stadium, details of its exterior are also visible: on one side, above the Erico section, the club’s 7 Copa Libertadores and 2 Intercontinental Cups are displayed in the form of banners. On the other side, at the entrance to the Bochini section, the phrase “a life of greatness” is inscribed, based on one of the club’s songs.
