CORONADOS T-shirt | A tribute to a historic match from the 2026 World Cup
“Let us live crowned with glory, or swear to die with glory.” This phrase sums up how we feel about and experience our homeland. Our CORONADOS T-shirt is a tribute to one of the Argentine national team’s most important matches at the 2026 World Cup.
The design surrounding the figure of our number 10 is inspired by the away kit the team wore for their match against England. The outer frame echoes the design of the drum the players used to celebrate with the fans (the work of an Argentine artist), whilst the top edge features the Falkland Islands flag, steeped in our history and now a national symbol.
Flanking our captain are Enzo Fernández, who scored the equaliser in the 85th minute, and Lautaro Martínez, who netted the winning goal in the 92nd minute when all seemed lost. This match transcended the realm of football, connecting with one of the most important pillars of Argentine history.
